     Hawthorn is found mostly in Europe, eastern Asia, and eastern North America and its use has been growing since the 1800's. In Britain, hawthorn was an important part of many May festivals and was known as 'May flower'. In France, hawthorn goes by the name 'l'epine noble' (a noble thorn).
     Hawthorn is a member of the rose family rosaceae. It is a small compact shrub tree with white bark, hard wood, and sharp thorns. It produces small berries called 'haws' which look like tiny apples or rose hips.
     All herb in this tea is organically grown and prepared ensuring its natural taste and active properties are enjoyed in every cup.

Directions:
     This is a delicate herb and the tea is more potent when exposed to high temperatures for a short period of time. To bring forth the herb's true characteristics be sure your water is a rolling boil when you pour it over your teabags.
     If you are preparing a stronger more robust brew be sure to use one teabag per cup of boiling water. Cover and steep for 7-12 minutes.
     If you desire a pleasure tea or quick brew use one teabag per cup of hot water. Pour water over teabags, cover, and let steep 3-5 minutes to taste.
