Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) is a perennial plant native to Europe and Asia. It has been used since ancient times for its calmative effects that promote relaxation and improve sleep quality. Traditionally used in herbal medicine to help relieve nervousness and as a sleep aid. Herb specific extraction: St Francis do not just encapsulate dried, powdered herbs. Each convenient capsule contains 390 mg of high potency 5:1 powder extract from organic valerian root. One bottle provides a month's supply.

Medicinal Ingredients:
360 mg per capsule: a 5:1 concentration, each capsule contains the equivalent of 1800 mg of dried organic valerian (Valeriana officinalis, root).
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Hyprollose (vegicap), organic maltodextrin.

Dosage:
Adults: relief of nervousness: take one capsule 1-3 times daily on an empty stomach. Alternatively, when used as a sleep aid, 1-2 capsule(s) can be taken 30-60 minutes before bedtime. Take an earlier dose of 1-2 capsules during the evening if necessary.
