This organic matcha green tea is earthy and bittersweet with toasted nutty notes. Inspired by a traditional style of Japanese green tea called matcha iri genmaicha, Traditional Medicinals blended crushed sencha and finely powdered matcha with toasted rice to create this earthy and balanced genmaicha tea. Some of Traditional Medicinals favourite matcha hails from the verdant tea fields of Japan, the finest expression of matcha tea.

Ingredients: Organic genmaicha tea (green tea leaf (Camellia sinensis) and toasted rice grain (Oryza sativa), organic matcha tea leaf (Camellia sinensis).

Directions:
Pour 240 mL freshly boiled water over one tea bag. Cover and steep for three minutes. Squeeze and remove tea bag to ensure maximum goodness.
